Our Story
Our unique approach to ocean sailing instruction offers immersive learning experiences with senior instructors using proven curriculum on safe, modern boats. Our goal at DMSail is to deliver a remarkable experience that develops safe, knowledgable, competent recreational sailors.

Wondering who attends DMSail classes?

Typically we find that our students are curious souls who enjoy adventure, challenges, salt water, people and the opportunity to learn skills and knowledge to start or improve their ability to safely sail boats on the ocean.

They are interested in opportunities to travel and live aboard a sailboat for 7 days with other like-minded individuals.

They want to obtain sailing certifications and become more proficient as a crew member or skipper on sailing boats ranging from 20 to 50 feet.

Their sailing goals may include:

the desire to rent/charter sailboats acting as captain in locations around the world,

host family and friends on sailing trips,

Who We Are?
DMSail Instructors

We are three certified American Sailing Association (ASA) instructors delivering sailing course in ideal and interesting locations around the world. We are affiliated with the ASA certified Aventura sailing school https://www.aventurasailing.com/ We have all the experience and qualifications to support your learning objectives. Our instructors have sailed and delivered training throughout most countries in the Caribbean, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Eastern and Western USA, West Cost of Canada and Mexico.

Based on our experiences, we know that sailing can be taught a better way. Our founders have experienced less then desirable instructor experiences during their early sailing days. Poorly qualified teachers, inadequate planning, old and ill-equipped sailboats, non-effective teaching techniques and ineffective sailing curriculums. At DMSail, our mission is to provide immersive, enjoyable learning experiences with senior instructors using proven curriculum on safe, modern boats. We love sailing, we own boats, we are drawn to the ocean, and we enjoy bringing passionate people together who are interested in starting and/or further developing their sailing qualifications and experience.
