I just returned from a wonderful training trip off the coast of California. Sailing a beautiful Oceanis 40.1, we sailed from Dana Point out to and around the Catalina Island working with students to complete their ASA 105 and 106. Adventures included night sailing, anchoring in 150 feet depths, saving another sailboat from a fouled anchor and frequent visits from dolphins. We did enjoy a bit of shore time at the famous "Marlin Club" and roller skating at the Wrigley Ballroom. Congratulations to our new graduates who completed the 3.5 day program.
